Resistance bands are a staple in the arsenal of every athlete.
When using bands, muscle tension is maintained throughout the motion in contrast to many similar free weight exercises, where work is not being performed at certain parts of the lift. This makes them not only very useful for mobility and stretching techniques but also for a warm-up prior to executing demanding exercises such as olympic lifts and the traditional powerlifts(deadlift, squat, bench press).
With your resistance band training, every part of both the concentric and eccentric part of the exercise has resistance, resulting in better range of motion strength and complete muscle fiber stimulation. This is the reason why they are the resistance modality of choice for physical therapy purposes. They allow for gradual strengthening of the stabilizer muscles, which is paramount during the rehab phase. Furthermore, they can be used to help athletes who cannot yet perform certain tough exercises (e.g., pull-ups, muscle-ups, front levers)
Resistance bands are also very easy to transfer and store when compared to free weights, which makes them the training modality of choice for the athletes who travel often.
We offer five types of resistance bands, starting from very easy(orange) to very hard(green). These can be bought either individually or as a set. Please consult the table below before placing your order.
